In-person sessions

Shared meal to build a community of leaders

Details for the in-person elements of the program.

Goal

The in-person sessions are designed to foster a culture of peer support as leaders integrate new skills into their daily work.

Details

You have been placed into a small group of CU School of Medicine leaders that will meet once a month for the duration of the six-month program. These in-person, shared meals are a core component of the CU Thrive Leadership Circles. Each session is an opportunity to discuss what you learned during your independent learning activities, gather ideas for integrating new skills into your work, and get to know other leaders in the School of Medicine. It’s a chance to build community and create connections that help prevent burnout and increase professional fulfillment.

Each small group has a peer facilitator responsible for coordinating dates, times, locations, and meals.

During the Meal

Your facilitator will come prepared to lead a short discussion on the month’s leadership topic. The rest of the meal is yours to connect informally with one another.
